She began her professional career as a congressional staffer and served in several senior positions for Members of Congress including Legislative Assistant and Subcommittee Staff Director on the Senate Labor and Human Resources Committee. She was a Senior Policy Analyst on two Presidential Commissions and was later nominated by President George Bush to be Assistant Secretary of Energy for Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs. Inc., supporting the METRIC team as business developer,
program manager and senior researcher.DR. ROY GEORGE, Chief Technical Officer Dr. Roy George has extensive experience in computer science and information technology and has held a range of senior faculty positions including Associate Professor and Chairman of the Computer Science Department at Clark Atlanta University (CAU). Dr. George is the Director of the Army Center for Research in Information Systems at CAU. His primary areas of expertise include knowledge management, artificial intelligence, database development, data warehousing, and data mining. As the CIO of METRIC, Inc., Dr. George has directed the technical implementation of major technology development projects for the Army Research Laboratory, Army Environmental Policy Institute and Army Corps of Engineers. RONALD WEBSTER, PE, Senior Program Director Ronald Webster has extensive experience with the United States Army, managing a full range of environmental technology development and environmental stewardship initiatives. He has served as a Senior Policy Analyst with the Army Environmental Policy Institute, and senior program manager with the Army Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL). The focus of Mr. Websters expertise has been on new and emerging issues such as ecosystem management, environmental sustainability, NEPA process improvement and environmental justice.
