METRIC,
Inc. has worked extensively
with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), and
Minority Institutions (MIs) and has used cooperative working
agreements to ensure access to some of the most highly trained
and experienced technical and professional resources, access
to state-of-the-art facilities and overall assistance with business
program development and implementation.
The relationship between METRIC
and its university partners is based, in principle, on a spirit
of cooperation to provide a potential mechanism to add resources
to our nations management, technology development and information
technology efforts. Both parties work to enhance their capabilities
to conduct technology development, management and information
technology programs and projects for agencies of the Federal,
State and local governments and private industry and to pursue
potential opportunities in the areas of applied technology and
information management systems.
Overall, the cooperative relationship
between METRIC and its university partners improves the
competitiveness of small businesses, HBCU/MIs, and MBEs in the
global marketplace via advancing innovative technologies, facilities
and training resources.
METRIC has close working relationships with Clark Atlanta
University, North Carolina A&T University, Florida International
University, the HBCU/MI Environmental Technology Consortium,
the HBCU/MI Research Alliance (HMIRA), the UNCF Special Programs
Corporation and the newly organized Minority Institution Manufacturing
Alliance (MIMA).
