The METRIC team has designed, developed and implemented information management tools and approaches as a fully integrated program, or as components to existing systems.

  • METRIC team members have developed several innovative patented products and concepts for the RFID market. Our RFID solution technologies track-and-trace the movement of goods anywhere in the supply chain by integrating a wide range of asset tracking capabilities, resulting in real-time visibility that facilitate process efficiencies and improve user profitability.

  • METRIC designed an ecosystem management and analysis project for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers utilizing Geographical Information System technology.

  • METRIC managed the development and update of the Economic Information Forecasting System (EIFS), an econometric model used by the U.S. Army NEPA community to assess regional economic impacts associated with federal agency plans, programs and policies including BRAC. A new and improved multiplier algorithm was developed for EIFS. The team also developed new algorithms to aggregate existing business pattern data with EIFS data and calculate the export employment and income multipliers. EIFS was web-enabled, permitting broader access. A user manual was documented and published.

  • The METRIC technical team, in collaboration with Army researchers, designed a prototype environmental impact computer system (EICS), which captures the knowledge of related systems and links with distributed analysis models and systems across the internet.

  • METRIC worked closely with Army senior officials on the design of the software architecture that would allow for virtual integration of the various analysis models in the NEPA process.
