Jackie Knox Brown

Ms. Brown has over 25 years of professional experience as an executive manager, program director and policy analyst. She began her professional career as a congressional staffer and served in several senior positions for Members of Congress and on Committee Staff. She was a Senior Policy Analyst on two Presidential Commissions and was later nominated by the President to be Assistant Secretary of Energy for Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs. As President and owner of METRIC, Inc. since 1996, she is experienced in business development, strategic management, program development and information management.  A graduate of Howard University, Ms. Brown has served on numerous boards, volunteers at school and in the community, and currently is a founding member of a national non-profit organization focused on educational disparity and strategies for achieving educational success by third grade.
